The year 2010 we hosted and experienced the first ever FIFA World Soccer Games to take place on the African soil in South Africa. Indeed this marked a decade of harvest for the church in South Africa.
God brought missions to our door steps and we grabbed it with both hands. As for us at TBCC we went all out to invite other churches in our community and together we formed interdenominational holy day club.
The sole intention of this venture was to reach out to both children and the youth of our community with the gospel. We were joined by teams from Brazil, USA and Zambia and the children and our youth had a great time learning the word of God and playing games.
As if that was not enough in the evenings we watched the soccer games on a big screen. Our gratitude goes to all the churches in our communities that took part in this unprecedented event that took our children from the streets and enrich them with the word of God.
